We Can Help You Opt Out of Unwanted Mail

On average, Americans receive more than 100 billion pieces of unsolicited mail each year; that is nearly 900 pieces per household!

Keep Kansas City Beautiful wants to help you take control of what enters your mailbox. By partnering with Catalog Choice, we are able to offer the Kansas City community an innovative precycling service that allows you to opt out of receiving phone books, coupons, credit offers and other unwanted mail.

Stopping unwanted mail helps to conserve natural resources, protect your identity and de-clutter your life. Why not try it today?

Keep Kansas City Beautiful's efforts are focused in three areas: litter prevention, beautification
and waste reduction.

Why should we keep Kansas City beautiful? Because beautiful cities are great cities. Beautiful cities create incredible community pride and attract businesses and visitors. Clean neighborhoods are healthier, safer and more livable.

Keeping Kansas City beautiful is everyone's job! Contact Keep Kansas City Beautiful to find out what you can do today. Call 816-561-1086 or e-mail: kkcb@bridgingthegap.org for more information.

Keep Kansas City Beautiful works in partnership with individuals, businesses and governments to create a cleaner and more beautiful Kansas City.

National Public Lands Day Brings Rain Garden to Loose Park

Loose Park in Kansas City, Missouri is now home to a beautiful new rain garden thanks to a partnership between Kansas City, Missoui Parks and Recreation, Missouri Department of Conservationand and Keep Kansas City Beautiful with financial support from Midland Loan Services.  Volunteers from Midland Loan Services and the community joined thousands across the country on National Public Lands Day cleaning and beautifying the public spaces that benefit each of us greatly.  Stop by the northwest side of the lagoon to enjoy the beauty of more than 300 native plants as their deep roots work to filter the water run-off before it enters the lagoon.

Another Successful Great American Clean-upTM

Local Great American Clean-upTM events gather neighbors together, build community and increase neighborhood pride through residents working together to let the natural beauty of homes, streets, and greens spaces shine. Clean and beautiful spaces also increase property values, reduce crime, and help prevent future litter.

Sponsored by Keep America Beautiful, the Great American Cleanup™ is the nation's largest annual community improvement program. Each year during March, April and May, volunteers nationwide pick up litter, clean rivers and hiking trails, renew parks, plant community gardens, plant trees and flowers, hold environmental education events and more.
